Oshur barir ferot ae ma ,Geeti Shatadal published by DM Library. The price of the book of 8 + 104 pages was one and a half rupees. The first edition was published in April 1934 (1341 Bengal Baisakh). At the beginning of this book Nazrul Islam wrote in the preface titled ‘Dutir Katha’, All the songs of Gitishat Dal have been recorded on records of Gramophone and Swadeshi Megaphone Company. These songs have already become popular as they were sung on radio. ‘Etc. Thanks to my many lyricist friends. In this retirement I thank all of them. Thank you and thank you.”
