The film tells the story of Sudha (Sandhya Roy) and Amar (Biswajit Chatterjee), who were childhood friends and eventually fell in love. Amar, who was a researcher working with snake venom, married Sudha despite the opposition from his family, who believed that Sudha would bring bad luck to him.
